Yule Season

Festivus celebration is by standing around a bare aluminium pole rather than purchasing an expensive Christmas tree. These are the two more famous Festivus practices as “Feats of Strength” and “airing of grievances.”

Some analysts have attacked Festivus supporters that describing them as anti-traditionalists with false ideas about Christmas and its genuine significance. The holiday has increased in popularity and particularly among budget spenders and minimalists.

Christmas Vacations

Christmas is without a doubt the most famous December festival. The day marks the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Christians regard it as God’s final genuine prophet sent to save humanity from sin. What distinguishes Christmas from most religious celebrations is that it is widely famous even in non-Christians.

The word ‘Kwanzaa’ comes from the Swahili word ‘kwanza,’ which means ‘first.’ The word “matunda ya kwanza” comes from the Swahili phrase “matunda ya kwanza,” which means “first fruits.” 

In the United States, Kwanzaa is an African-American cultural holiday. Kwanzaa is a December festival held in African roots primarily celebrated in the United States. In the wake of the Watts riots in Los Angeles, California, Dr Maulana Karenga founded the day, initially observed in 1966.

Kwanzaa is frequently famous for the performance of traditional African music and dances. There’s also storytelling, poetry reading, and a discussion of African culture’s fundamental principles. These celebrations typically finish with a massive traditional supper after each day and a giant feast known as ‘Karamu’ on the last day.

Boxing Day – People thought it was Christmas.

Some individuals think that following Christmas, it was the formal day when the church gave charity boxes to the poor. Others regard Boxing Day as the day to thank delivery boys, mail carriers, and other types of servants for their efforts throughout the year.

Regardless of its historical significance, Boxing Day is one of the most famous December holidays. World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1.

The month of December is World Aids Day Awareness Month.

In August 1987, James W. Bunn and Thomas Netter thought up the idea for World AIDS Day.  On December 10, Human Rights Day celebrates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.

International Day of Disabled Persons

On December 3, the United States celebrates the International Day of Disabled People.

The day’s objective is to increase awareness of the situation of people with disabilities in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life and promote their rights, including all levels of society and development.
